Flat stove glass

Dimensions in millimeters (mm) must be sent in writing: via the website, e-mail or SMS. We perform glass cutting with an accuracy of ± 1mm. For example, if the size of the glass is 400mm * 600mm, the area of the glass would be 0.4m * 0.6m = 0.24m² and its price would be 0.24m² * x = x €. The price includes VAT.

Glass-ceramics is a polycrystalline material made by controlled crystallization of glass. Glass-ceramic materials have many properties in common with both glass and ceramics. Glass-ceramics have an amorphous phase and one or more crystalline phases which cause so-called "controlled crystallization", in contrast to spontaneous crystallization, which is not usually recommended in the production of glass. Glass-ceramics is a modification of glass that gives glass ceramic properties. Glass ceramics do not require soldering but can withstand brazing temperatures up to 700 ° C. Glass-ceramics typically have a crystallinity in the range of 30% [w / w] to 90% [w / w] and obtain a wide range of materials with interesting properties such as zero porosity, high strength, toughness, translucency or opacity, pigmentation, opalescence, low or even negative thermal expansion, high temperature stability, fluorescence, processability, ferromagnetism, absorption or high chemical resistance, biocompatibility, bio-activity, ion conductivity, superconductivity, insulation capabilities, low dielectric constant loss, high fire resistance and breakdown voltage. These properties can be adjusted by controlling the base glass composition and controlled heat treatment / crystallization. In the manufacturing industry, glass-ceramics are valued for their ceramic strength and glass airtightness properties. Glass-ceramics are mainly made in two stages: the first - glass is formed in the glass production process. The glass is cooled and then reheated in a second step. In this heat treatment, the glass partially crystallizes. The active ingredients are added to the main glass, which forms the glass-ceramic. These additives help control the crystallization process. Since there is usually no pressing and sintering, glass-ceramics, unlike sintered ceramics, are without pores. The thickness of the glass is 4 mm.
